I just finished a new quickie project: The Headset to XLR phantom voltage adapter. This adapter / converter makes it possible to use your low voltage electret microphone on a professional audio interface with 48V phantom power. I was astonished to learn how low the noise floor of my headset really is, if only it is connected to a proper mic interface.
Works just fine with the typical low voltage lavalier microphones, too. (But double-check the pinout of your mic & voltage rating.)
