I needed to affix something to my ceiling. A cable tie would be ideal, but how attach that to the ceiling? Drilling a proper hole into reinforced concrete overhead is messy and I didn’t feel like playing the „try to miss the embedded cable“ game. Hence I proudly present: The removable adhesive strip to cable tie adapter.
This variant is designed for cable ties up to 3.5mm in width ( ~1/8 in). On the other end, Powerstrips and Poster Strips from Tesa work well. Products from other companies will probably fit as well.
For removing the adhesive strip a 15mm long flap can be lifted, revealing the removal grip part of the adhesive strip.
